Today, WMS Gaming Inc., a sub-company of WMS Industries Inc., announced that it will launch 7 new slot game themes and a unique gaming concept based on Hasbro, Inc.'s Monopoly brand at next week's Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas. Online slot players would like to see these games online some day, too.

The main part of the new Monopoly slot games will be WMS' debut of a unique new slot gaming concept for the slot casino floor. It will bring the joint efforts and excitement of table games to slot machines together into a new branded series of games  to be called Monopoly Big Event.

The new Monopoly titles, which are under license from the Hasbro Properties Group, include 3 new games that extend the Monopoly Money wide-area progressive product line, one of which is a new penny progressive slot, one new unlinked participation game and 3 new games for the Big Event product line.

Over the last 7 years, WMS has introduced over 20 titles of Monopoly-branded games for what has become one of the casino gaming industry's most popular and enduring brands.

With the Monopoly Big Event, game designers have created a truly unique gaming experience that combines the entertainment elements of a video slot machine with the group experience of table games where players can jointly play for and enjoy a common gaming experience.

This new game concept will provide the first slot machine experience where all players participate in and win the bonus round together. Monopoly Big Event will be introduced with three new dedicated video game themes under the Monopoly brand - X Marks the Spot 2, Egyptian Riches and Mystical Dragon - and features a stadium seating configuration surrounding a large plasma screen display.

Monopoly Big Event players will be encouraged to root for each other much in the manner of some casino table games. A Big Event bonus is awarded to all eligible gaming devices in the bank of machines. During the communal bonus round, the overhead plasma screen displays MR.
