In New Hampshire, it is now being reported that the state could stand to raise $180 million a year or more from legalizing slot machines at 4 different racetracks and 3 different hotel resorts. Online slots players will be happy to know that they may have even more choices to play slots.

This inference even takes into reflection that neighboring Massachusetts might legalize betting at 2 locations. A consultant for the gaming industry feels that even though Massachusetts could have 2 slots casinos there would be a big enough market for all.  

Regrettably, people in the industry are still calculating the pros and cons than the November 1 deadline they face under state law. They still intend to ask House Speaker Douglas Scamman, for an extension on the deadline.

Already, slot machine gambling legislation in the state faced large obstacles when the Senate there discarded it by a 3-1 margin early in 2005.
